Mice Krispies

Moe the corn snake has been living with us for a week now and last night he had his first venture out from his vivarium.

You might think I'm mad, but I'm actually quite smitten. There is something genuinely adorable about the little guy.

OK, I've probably got my work cut out convincing a lot of you he's cute. And that probably won't get any easier after you watch the video of him having his first breakfast in his new home.... here it is:

For breakfast he has Mice Krispies*. Actually these are "fluffs" or "fuzzies", which are somehere between day-old "pinkies" and fully mobile "hoppers" on the mouse age scale.

Zack was really excited about the whole feeding process, and considerably less freeked out than his parents.

*Yup, for desert there was micecream. If he was Greek, I guess he might have had mousesaka for dinner? Not sure about lunch, just let me paws for thought....
